Services

General and Restorative Treatments

Exam, Cleaning, and Prevention

Dentistry is founded on the principle of prevention. All patients are recommended biannual cleanings, exams, and radiographic images, as is required to keep your body healthy.

Fillings

Used to prevent the spread of tooth decay or correct any cosmetic damage, a filling is one of the ways our dentists preserve your health.

Crowns, Bridges, & Veneers

For any tooth decay or damage, our dentists can help find the best solution for our patients.

Partial/Complete Dentures and Implant Overdentures

A denture is a removable oral appliance used to replace missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures are available, complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.

Post/core

A post-and-core is a dental restoration used to sufficiently build-up tooth structure for future restoration (i.e, crown) when there is not enough tooth structure to properly retain the crown. The post is placed within the root of a tooth treated with root canal.

Endodontic Treatment

Root Canal Treatment

To repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected, the nerve and pulp are gently but thoroughly removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will inevitably become infected and abscess may form.

Other Treatments

Whitening

Professional teeth whitening is faster, more effective, and longer-lasting that treatments you find over the counter.

Invisible Alignment

There are various ways to correct crooked or crowded teeth without the use of traditional braces.

Occlusal Guards

Occlusal guards are necessary when excessive jaw clenching and bruxism accelerate tooth and jaw deterioration.

Surgical and Periodontal Treatments

Crown Lengthening

Excess gum and bone tissue is reshaped to expose more of the natural tooth.

Periodontal Maintenance

Among the causes for periodontal (gum) disease are genetic susceptibility, smoking, and other illnesses like diabetes. Periodontal maintenance involves removing plaque and tartar from above and below the gumline.

Scaling and Root Planing

The objective of these non-surgical procedures is to remove dental plaque and tartar, or calculus, which cause gingival inflammation and disease.

Gum Grafting

When recession of the gingiva occurs, the body loses a natural defense against both bacterial penetration and trauma. When gum recession is a problem, gum reconstruction using grafting techniques is an option.

Implant Placement and Restorations

A dental implant mimics the form and function of a natural tooth, which consists of a root and a crown. The crown is the visible part of your tooth. It is used to chew food and is therefore the most susceptible to cavities.

Extractions

Our dentists make every effort to preserve your natural teeth. However, extractions are necessary when decay has made the tooth unsalvageable or when you have an advanced periodontal disease.

Guided Bone and Tissue Regeneration

This procedure is used to stabilize endangered teeth or to prepare the jaw for dental implants.

LANAP Laser Treatment

Treatment for gum disease may include deep scaling and root planing or osseous surgery. A more recent development in periodontal treatment is the use of a minimally invasive laser - the Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP™), a patented protocol that is the only FDA cleared protocol for gum disease. Compared to traditional periodontal surgery, this laser therapy is a less invasive, more patient-friendly approach that is done without a scalpel and sutures.

Biopsy/Oral Medicine

A procedure that removes a small piece of abnormal tissue from your mouth or oral cavity. This tissue is then sent to a pathologist who will determine what it is, which helps determine treatment.
